Émile Tremblay-Antoine is co-founder and CEO of Halpie Technologies, where he leads product strategy, clinical partnerships and overall execution. Trained in engineering physics, he works closely with clinicians and researchers to align the chest-mounted patch and analytics platform with the realities of heart-failure and COPD care in mind, from hospital discharge to long-term follow-up. His approach combines evidence-driven decision-making, disciplined prioritization and a strong bias toward deployable, clinically usable technology.

William Boucher is co-founder and CTO of Halpie Technologies. With a background in engineering physics, he naturally gravitated toward the messy intersection of electronics, optics, embedded systems and physiology. At Halpie, he focuses on building technology that clinicians and hospitals actually want to use: tools that fit into real workflows instead of adding extra screens and clicks. He also leads the AI and data strategy, turning continuous vital-sign streams into models and insights that are clinically meaningful, auditable, and safe to deploy at scale.

As president of the Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec (FMEQ), he stays close to day-to-day medical realities, emerging clinical evidence, and system-level pressures. At Halpie, he helps translate this perspective into concrete requirements for the product: what would make a nurse or resident actually trust and adopt the platform, what data clinicians really need to see, and what questions studies should be designed to answer. He also keeps an eye on how medical practice and guidelines are evolving, so Halpie's technology and data strategy stay aligned with where care is going, not just where it is today.
